GM Weekend is on hiatus for 2018: Returning Spring 2019

By Comments Off on GM Weekend is on hiatus for 2018: Returning Spring 2019

This past year has been a productive one for Gainesville Modern as we focused much of our energy on collaborating with the City and the University of Florida to inventory the area’s remarkable mid-twentieth century neighborhoods and buildings. Thank you to all of those who have volunteered to help!

We have also increased our efforts to advocate for the preservation of the mid-century architecture that helps lend Gainesville its unique character and sense of place.

We appreciate all of the enthusiasm and support for Gainesville Modern’s mission and activities. Keep an eye on this Facebook page and our website for updates and upcoming events.

A panel discussion about local implications and possibilities will follow the film.

Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity, UF Historic Preservation Program, and Gainesville Modern. Gainesville Modern is a non-profit dedicated to preserving Gainesville’s modern architectural past and promoting its future through education, advocacy, and awareness.
